How it started.
I have been interested in model trains since I was a child. My Dad gave me the train bug. But on a little pocket money I couldn't afford many second hand models so I found damaged & none working ones to fix up.
It was more fun and much cheaper, now I can fix all OO & N scale locos so they run like new.

Where I am now.
I have too many spares so have set up an eBay shop and repair business with digital DCC decoder fitting services in Middlesbrough. I sell new and used models from the leading manufacturers: Hornby, Bachmann, Gaugemaster, Peco, Metcalfe, Wills, Superquick and many more as well as continuing the repairs and DCC fitting service.

The web site will not allow you to order more than what is held in stock as long as the add to cart button is active, if you wish to order more than what is available give us a call and we can order the items in for you. If the product shows out of stock the item can't be ordered online until new stock arrives, however please call for availability information if you wish.
UK DELIVERIES
We currently ship via Royal Mail and various courier services. We quote standard shipping rates for UK delivery on our website based on the value of the shopping added to you cart.
Orders received on Saturdays / Sundays will be shipped on the following Monday and on bank holidays will be sent the following Tuesday.
Courier Service
We do require a Home telephone number and a delivery date or special instructions of where to leave courier parcels if no one is home.
Our Current Postage rates are:
UK Orders £0.00 up to £10.00
£2.50 By Royal Mail Postage and Packing.
Standard Royal Mail delivery is covered for a Retail value of £50 for the complete parcel to cover loss or damage.
UK Orders £10.01 up to £25.00
£3.00 By Royal Mail Postage and Packing
Standard Royal Mail delivery is covered for a Retail value of £50 for the complete parcel to cover loss or damage.
UK orders £25.01 up to £50.00
£3.50 By Royal Mail Postage and Packing
Standard Royal Mail delivery is covered for a Retail value of £50 for the complete parcel to cover loss or damage.
UK orders £50.01 up to £500.00
£6.99 By Courier / Shipping Company or Special Delivery
Items are insured up to £500. These deliveries must be signed for.
Any orders over £500.00 are £14.00 as they will need to be shipped in two parcels to enable the £500 compensation per parcel.
Claims for lost Royal Mail parcels can not be made until 14 working days have elapsed for UK deliverys, Overseas after 30 days have elapsed.
Claims for damaged parcels must be made to us as soon as possible.
Claims will be submitted by us to Royal Mail in writing and take approximately 14 days to be for reply from Royal Mail, you will be contacted after this time to offer replacement goods or a full refund.
Claims for lost or damaged parcels sent by Special Delivery can not be made until 10 working days have elapsed. Claims will be submitted by us to Royal Mail in writing and take approximately 14 days to be determined by Royal Mail, you will be contacted after this time to offer replacement goods or a full refund.
Claims to Couriers or Shipping Companies will be submitted in writing by us within 7 days of loss or damage and may take up to 6 weeks to be determined by the Courier or Shipping Company, you will be contacted after this time to offer replacement goods or a full refund.
OVERSEAS DELIVERIES.
At this time we are building the web site an are working on securing overseas quotes. We are more than happy to quote personally for shipping outside of the UK. Please email us for more details or place your order and we can quote postage by email (the site is set up with a default of £25.00 for overseas to allow the order to be recieved, this will not be charged untill you quote is finalised and agreed by the customer.)
